This unique house with a large garden, a covered terrace and a garage is located on a quiet street in St. Aldegund. (Protection of monument)
The wine and holiday resort St. Aldegund is located in the heart of the beautiful Mosel landscape, about halfway between Trier and Koblenz. Lovingly restored half-timbered houses in the narrow winding streets of the old town bear witness to the rich history of the 900-year-old town. Steep vineyards, a large forest area and wonderful views of the beautiful Moselle Valley make a hike here a very special experience. Thanks to a dam in the village, the Moselle River stretches almost like a small lake through the entire valley and offers excellent water sports opportunities. It is a place where the simple village culture and artistic heritage seamlessly blend in from the high Middle Ages to the present day, and where the village image has been preserved in the core.

General: This unique house with large garden, covered terrace and garage actually consists of two connected houses which for the most part have already been thoroughly renovated. For example, the water pipes and sewerage are completely new, and the electricity has been renewed where necessary. One roof was re-roofed with real slates in 1984 and the other in 2018. As of 2018, the side walls of the house with the masonry facade (left part) are clad with 10 cm insulation and new slates. The back side is covered with 14 cm. insulation and then plastered. Also, in both houses the windows and outside doors were replaced, a spacious garage was built, a large, covered terrace with adjacent garden was created and a new kitchen was installed. In the right part there is a beautiful living room of approx. 47m² with a lot of respect for old details, here is a pellet stove to which a pipe system is connected so that through warm air several rooms can be heated. In this living room, the ceiling is insulated in a high-quality manner. Above this living room is a large space where you can still expand. In the left part there is still room for cosmetic improvements, but that is something you should decide for yourself. All costly renovations have already been done.
