Lütz is a picturesque village, idyllically located in the bed of the Lützbach, surrounded by extensive forests, meadows and grasslands.

The flair of the village is primarily characterized by the historic buildings, which are not just limited to the village center with the rectory, church and town hall. The village has around 350 inhabitants and is located approx. 3 km from the Moselle in a beautiful side valley of the Hunsrück. Slate mining used to play an important role in Lütz. There has been a slate quarry hiking trail since 2005. This leads on a 7 km long circular route through the beautiful landscape.

Infrastructure: The town of Treis-Karden is only 8 km or 10 minutes away by bus or car. Here you will find supermarkets, various specialist shops and doctors, as well as a kindergarten and a primary school. In Treis Karden you will also find train connections to Cochem or Koblenz. In the district town of Cochem, approx. 20 minutes and 18 km away, you will find further shops, doctors and all schools. The A48 and A61 motorways can each be reached in 15-20 minutes and Hahn Airport can be reached in 40 minutes.

General:

This sunny single-family home with lots of privacy was built in 1981 in a group of houses on a hill above the village of Lütz. It’s the last house on a dead-end street. The house, built in a solid architectural style, has been kept in a good condition over the years. In 2000 the second garage was built, in 2002 a kitchen area with a covered terrace was added, in 2010 the boiler was replaced and the walls and tiles in the living room were repainted.
